Frugal Bride News:
We finally got all our Google ad stuff in order and everything is working like it should.

The only thing we're still working on is a stats program that will include the forum, the article pages and the vendor listing directory. These 3 sections are seperated on the server, so getting comprehensive stats has been a pain in the butt.

Judy News:
Judy moved into her new photo studio this month. She's super happy with it. This is where she does the majority of her boudoirs and sizzle sessions. Here's a picture.

Darsi News:
For me, this month was full of doctor's appointments. Don't worry,  just the yearly physical, plus a few extras because I'm pushing 50, like:  a mamogram, a stress test and a coloscopy. All tests came back great. I'm a picture of health :-D

November & December 11

November wasn't a very exciting month, just more of the same old stuff. The leaves were gone, the weather cooling down and everything hibernating for another year.

December...my favourite time of year. I blingafy my apartment with all the decorations I've collected over the past 20 (cough) years. I defy anyone to find a surface that isn't covered in the seasons colours. This year my family got me stuff that I, honest to God, loved. My daughter got me a work bag with wheels, my son got me Birkenstock sandals for the summer, my sister got me Bailey's Irish Cream and my mother got me scratch tickets. It doesn't get any better than that. The whole family was together for a massive festive buffet with the Christmas Log and carols playing on the TV....Fabulous!

Well, it's NYE and I just finished decorating my apartment with disco balls, hats and noise makers.

October ... Let's see

Luv the fall; the fresh air, the colours and the hardy food.

I'm still working a lot with Judy; tonnes of boudoirs and a few e-shoots. Judy also makes custom made slipcover for albums, so I've been pinning and cutting the material for those.

We had a Beat the Babbler contest on the BBB and FBL forums for Thanksgiving. Chenchen and knidd won $100 each.

Halloween is done and I took the decor down today. Time to start my Christmas shopping.

September Review

I for one am enjoying the cooler weather, this summer was one for the record books...way too hot for me.

TV is back. Totally loving Pan AM and the Playboy Club!

Well, I finally learned how to edit the homepage Judy is thrilled. Inserting pictures, changing text,  HTML coding, it's a whole new world. You really can teach an old dog new tricks.

Lots of weddings this month, so that means lots of stuff for sale on the board

Vendors now have a few options to pay for their ad packages: cheque, email money transfer, paypal and our new option; you can pay directly from our ad page

August News

Most of the new site is good and ready, except for the payment page for advertisers. It still isn't the way I want it. The site stats program isn't right yet either but we're working on those 2 problems.

If you are using Internet Explore, you won't be able to copy and paste articles from the site. We have someone looking into that as well. For the time being, please email me with the URL to the article and I'll be happy to copy and paste it in a reply to you.

Loads of boudoir sessions are still being shot at Judy's studio in Hamilton. Luckily it's got AC.

Judy and I also went to the CNE for the first time in years and visited all the buildings . We ate a lot too. Good times!

Bring on September. Can't wait till the kids go back to school so that I can get myself on a regular schedule again.

July 2011 - What's up?

The new Frugal Bride Word Press blog was launched. We continue to work on little technical glitches and correcting typos pointed out by our users.

Advertisers can now purchase new packages and renew your advertising directly from our advertising page.

We're still looking for Real Wedding Submissions. Please see this link for more information.

FB Living has expanded to add a blog, twitter and facebook. Basic and Banner Advertisers that have specials or articles that they want to share with our married users can get more info here

Our stats numbers haven't been working correctly since May because of server changes but everything should be back to normal next month.

Good news- My trip to Varadaro Cuba was needed and relaxing.
Bad News-  I stayed at the Barcelo Solymar, which I wouldn't recommend. The food was tasteless, not much variety, only AC was in your own room and if you didn't have a Cuban Peso visible in your hand, you couldn't get good service.

June 2011 What's New

The new Frugal Bride is almost ready. We're hoping to launch it in the next couple of days.
